Tervetuloa Suomi – Welcome Finland
We are happy to present Finland as a guest country of Worlddidac Bern 2018. One of the highlights of the Suomi presence will be the Workshop “Finnish Educational Innovations for Life-long learning”.
The key note speaker of the workshop is the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture, Secretary General, Mrs. Anita Lehikoinen. Next to this speech, leading Finnish companies will present their most innovative solutions in early childhood and basic education, higher education with dual structure and e-learning. Visitors will able to test and evaluate presented products and solutions in the Finnish Pavilion, situated in hall 3.2.
One of the basic principles of Finnish education is that all people must have equal access to high-quality education and training, regardless of their ethnic origin, age or wealth. To ensure this equality, a well-developed system of study grants and loans has been established. Financial aid can be awarded for full-time studies in an upper secondary school, vocational institution or institution of higher education.
